The coast also offers magnificent geological features including the collapsed inland sea cave at Trevone Bay and the Marble cliffs towards Tregudda Gorge, this area has even been surveyed by Cambridge University.
Southwest Coast Path – is a National Trail which leads you via Acorn Markers around the entire Southwest Coast. Although there are sections of the SW coast path which are not for the faint hearted, there are accessible areas with short and level routes in our area also: Accessible Coast Path Routes North Cornwall
The villages along the coastline to Padstow boast some of the most spectacular beaches in North Cornwall. St. Merryn’s slogan “7 bays for 7 days” illustrates the multitude of coves available.
Beach Safety
Many of the main beaches are patrolled by Lifeguards during the school holidays – please ensure you adhere to their instructions regarding safe use of the sea. More information can be found via the RNLI website link: RNLI Beaches
