Mothers day – 10th March 2024

Mothers Day is usually just one day of the year when we set aside time to honour our mothers and our grandmothers (the matriarchal figure in your life)  “The person who has done more for you than anyone in the world”

Its a very busy time in card shops and florists and booking a table for lunch can be expensive and tricky.  Ask most mothers what they would want most – and resoundingly the answer is to spend time with YOU.

Why not give back more than just a lunch or a card this year? Spend some relaxing and quality time together.

The Easter school holidays are a very popular time to visit Cornwall.

With most term timetables allowing 2 weeks off school – there is a great deal of flexibility to book a quick family holiday.

PLUS Short breaks are possible at many of our properties – so it needn’t break the bank.

Check out our Whats Happening in Cornwall 2024  for all kind of events that will keep the family occupied during the holidays – as well as fun filled days out on our local attractions page.

Picture it? Egg Hunts in the sand dunes – Bonnet making by the bay?  The sun sets closer to 7pm in the evening – meaning longer time can be spent on the beach – swimming surfing and barbequing (whatever you like doing best with those you love most)
