Internationally recognised for its conservation work with parrots, it’s home to the World Parrot Trust, making it one of the UK’s leading centres for these intelligent and vibrant birds. Brightly coloured macaws, flamingos, majestic bald eagles and penguins all capture children’s attention, while red pandas and squirrels provide quieter moments of discovery.
Alongside the bird collections, younger visitors can also enjoy the Fun Farm, where they can interact with friendly pygmy goats, miniature donkeys, guinea pigs and sheep.

One of the biggest highlights is the underwater tunnel, where families can watch reef sharks, stingrays and rescued sea turtles swim overhead.
